1. Editor decided to edit article after finding a least one thing "wrong"

1a Inexperienced editor (good faith) 1a.1 Looks simple, or is passionate about it then edits 1a.2 Uncertain- Really Not Sure Let's GOTO (:-0) to Talk (3.) PROBLEM No prompt that Talk topics exist

1b Experienced Editor 1b.1 Content: Can they improve it? 1b.2 Really Not Sure Let's GOTO (:-0) to Talk (3.) 1b.3 Context: - looks at templates, article class, stats (watchers, edits...) 1b.4 Risks?: Protections, edit war likely. PROBLEM No prompt about conflict level? (revert rate is high, protected in the past..._ PROBLEM No prompt that talks exist 1b.5 Estimate 1: First guess at size 1b.6 Minor then edit and do it 1b.7 Proceed? Estimate vs time available vs risks vs knowledge vs risks 1b.8 Anything else wrong? Skims or reads whole article (references likely to be available, changes needed and imported,...) 1b.9 Estimate 2 : 1b.10 Proceed? (Interest level vs WP reputation/harm to reader vs Estimate vs time available vs risks vs confidence level in subjectd) 1b.11 Really Not Sure Let's GOTO (:-0) to Talk (3.)

2 Reverted PROBLEM Article Squatting by experienced/paid editors PROBLEM Easier to revert everything, and not discuss

2a Inexperienced editor (good faith) PROBLEM Very High Chance of revert PROBLEM If revert, then next step is unclear (appeal revert on talk, then ask for Rfc.) PROBLEM TIme/procedure/power imbalance between Reverter and Reverted. Revertee has to manually create talk topic, copy reason, add reverter. Does not know that you can get support PROBLEM Safety. Both sides can be awful

2b Experienced good faith editor is reverted 2b.1 Do you care enough to discuss it? or do you agree with the reason? Does it match a guideline exactly 2b.2 Add topic PROBLEM Low to medium Chance of Revert BUT REVERTER is more likely to discuss PROBLEM TIme/procedure/power imbalance between Reverter and Reverted. Revertee has to manually create talk topic, copy reason, add reverter. Does not know that you can get support PROBLEM Safety. Both sides can be awful 2b.3 Add topic and message REVERTER 2b.4 No answer or good faith? 2b.6 REVERTER Risk Assessment - Number of reverts on article and comments, UserContributuions, User page friendliness, Talk agreeableness, User Rights/number of edits, User network (belongs to a big active group..) experiencestimate - Estimate vs time available vs risks vs confidence level in subject vs interest 2b.7 Your community standing? Prior issues, User rights/number of editsargued already, 2b.8 You? Is it worth it? How are you feeling? Can it wait?
