Why, hello there! For some odd reason, you're on my userpage! Ooo, maybe you want to know more about me, or what I do here...

...Probably not. But, hey, I'll tell you anyway!

First, a word from our sponsors

edit

I'm Josh (last name omitted), but online I commonly go by BP. I enjoy technical things, though I'm often not very good at them. I do know a little HTML/C++(as you can see from the <div> on my talk page), but only enough to get by. I know a good deal more about comic books than the average person, and enjoy good stories. For these reason, my mainspace contributions will be around comic books, video games, tech toys, and plot elements. I'm a Christian, and if I see the need, I might end up contributing to related articles. I think grammar and spelling are important, so I fix them where I see them. Vandalism sucks, too, so expect to see me reverting a lot of that.

My contributions and planned contributions

edit

I don't often have a lot of time for for Wikipedia, but when I do, I monitor my watchlist like a buzzard would a dying cow. Some of the articles I've contributed to are:

  • Arctic Cat — Reworked things around. Need images for this, too.
  • Army of Two — While I didn't add a whole lot of information to the article, I still did considerable work cleaning it up.
  • Cable harness — More or less a complete re-write. Also several redirects. Planning to add an image, soon.
  • Cloak of Levitation — General expansion. I also recycled a picture from Doctor Strange.
  • Jolen (comics) — Added significant info to the article. May add picture, eventually(meaning, if I can find one).
  • Netgun — Somewhat of a rewrite(cleaning up + adding info).
  • Pirates of the Plain — New article about a movie that deserves it.
  • Reset button technique — This bad boy has been given a considerable amount of work, and, even still, requires a good deal of editing.
  • Wundarr the Aquarian — Added a good deal of information, bumping it from a Stub-class to a B-class. Also added an image.

— List in alphabetical order.

Articles that I need free-license images for

edit

In order of importance:

  • Cable harness need a quality image a cable harness or multiple cable harnesses.
  • Arctic Cat could use two images: an ATV and a snowmobile.
  • Jolen could use a character picture.

If you happen to have anysuch images in your personal collection, I would be grateful if you would give them to me Wikipedia.

And now for an article that totally SHOULDN'T have been deleted:

edit

That's right. Take a look at New Testament church and its AfD. If you, too have a problem with this deletion, write your local congressperson! Er, I mean — contact a concerned administrator, or even file a Deletion review.

Awards I've won

edit

None other than the Being a Dork Award. But, hey, I'm not really looking for pats on the back, anyway.
