The Lawkeepers Fantasy Football and Baseball League is a Fantasy Sports League Founded in 2003 for the purposes of playing fantasy sports. The leagues are keepers league designed to get owners to make fun of each others fantasy knowledge and mental shortcomings. The football league has 12 members, and the baseball league has 10. There is a basketball league also (sort of), but no one seems to care about that other than Ryan, Clif, Azer and Mo.
Membership edit
All members or 'owners' of the teams are lawyers, except for Bill, who has too much time on his hands. In both leagues, the 2004/2005 season saw an increase of owners by two (to 14 and 12 respectively), but then those guys dropped off. I dont know who they were, probably Luke Thomas or something.
The league has had an amazing amount of parody , with no 2 owners ever repeating as champion. Which if you think about it, is pretty fucked up.
Draft edit
The LKFF(BB)L draft is annualy held in either Morgantown or Charleston. It usually involves some sort of illeagal activity and occasionally a keg. For example, in 2006 we went to Ryans house and had pizza and played dice in the garage. The night before a bunch of guys went to Fine Diamonds and many complained about the smell. In 2009, we played golf, and went to the Casino. Controversey arose when Clif drove through the mud with his cart and Bill followed, subsequently covering JR in mud. Josh was rightfully pissed.
In 2008, the League saw the JJ rule come and go. We were all pleased that those named in the rule decided to stop having a circle jerk in their Morgantown office while drafting online and join the actual live draft.
Trades edit
The league usually has 5 guys who trade a bunch and 5 who dont. The trades are usually garbage and one of the owners will almost always completely rape the other. For example, I think Bill traded CC Sabathia to Clif for John Patterson and Alex Gordon. Ryan traded Bill Evan Longoria last year for Yunel Escobar. My God.
The Championship Trophy edit
The LKFF(BB)L Championship Trophy Currently does not exist because ryan wanted to spend $70.00 on it and a couple of owners didnt like that. We'll probably just get something off ebay.
