Victor Takudzwa Benison (born July 26, 2001) best known as Vykyboy is a Zimbabwean singer, songwriter and musician[1]

Early life and career

Born at Gutu Mission Hospital[2] in Gutu District, Zimbabwe, Vykyboy began recording music professionally in 2016, releasing his debut single "I put my trust" in 2018, produced by Legion (Wilton Isheanesu Doba)[3][1] He continued to build his discography with the release of "Camilla" in 2021, followed by "Mama" in 2022. In the same year he released his debut EP titled "What Happens After - WHA The EP, featuring four tracks: "For me," "Batikai muchiround," "Like I do," and "For a fact." Additionally, he collaborated with DJ Rimo Jackson and Denimwoods[4] on the song "Ngisakufuna." He did his first tour and performed in India in March 2024, where he was welcomed by Diego Mauricio and Mourtada Fall. [5]

Education

Attended primary school at Cecil John Rhodes School[6], in Gweru and graduated high high school at Advent Hope Academy[7], Harare.
