NEDUVASAL

        Neduvasal is a village in the Alangudi taluk of Pudukkottai district, Tamil Nadu, India.

As per the 2001 census, Neduvasal had a total population of 5952 with 3000 males and 2952 females. The sex ratio was 5252. The literacy rate was 70.18.

        The surrounding villages of this town are very beautiful covered with coconut plantations.Manora, an eight storeyed victory tower built by the Maratha King Saraboji in 1814 to commemorate the victory of the British over Napoleon Bonaparte at Waterloo, is a well known tourist center locally. The name Manora is derived from the minaret meaning small minar. From the top of this tower, one has a panoramic view of the palm-fringed Bay of Bengal. The tower has also served as a light house. Manora is located about 30km east of Neduvasal. Lord Sri Nadiamman Temple is very famous in Neduvasal
