Dr. Vincent Ahonsi, MD is an International Development Expert, Project Manager & Public Health Specialist working with a group of fellow experts & professionals at Movik Health & Care Consulting Limited as the Managing Director.

Previously he worked with Oxford Policy Management (OPM), as the National Team Leader of a DFID-funded Nutrition Project; implemented by a consortium of four UK-based organisations {OPM, Save the Children UK, the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) University of Sussex, and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and three Nigerian organisations {the University of Ibadan, Ahmadu Bello University at Zaria, and the Food Basket Foundation International (FBFI)}

He earlier worked as the Technical/SI&E Director for Elizabeth Glaser Pediatrics AIDS Foundation in Zambia; Chief of Party of USAID Integrated MARPS HIV/AIDS Prevention Programme; Country Director for Heartland Alliance of Chicago; Senior Public Health Manager for Crown Agents (on health commodities procurement & logistics); Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor for Columbia University-ICAP of New York; Consultant to Abt Associates of Bethesda MD; Consultant to ECORYS Nederland; Health Service Improvement Project Manager for Medway NHS Trust in England; Patient Management & Monitoring Officer for Palladium of Washington DC, and Medical Director for Movik Hospital.

Vincent has over 20 years’ experience planning, implementing and evaluating international health systems, HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria, NCDs, MNCH & nutrition programmes; and has worked in, or provided technical assistance to Nigeria, Ghana, United Kingdom, Zambia, Netherlands, Kenya and the United States.

He has years of experience selecting, hiring and building high performing and motivated teams; ensuring compliance with policies, guidelines and local labour & tax laws. Dr. Ahonsi has a robust experience in personnel development, performance management & sub-contracting.
