Many tribes speaking the same language where living in the 'Lakes Country'or 'Channel Country' of North-Eastern South Australia & South West Queensland. Names referring to people speaking this language are Nhirrpi, Parlpamardramardra, Ngananhina, Biraliba,Thayipilthirringuda, Ngapardandhirri, Piladapa, Ngurawola, Matja & Yawarrawarrka. Very little is known about some of these groups, and what details are availible are mainly on the the groups, Thayipilthirringuda & Parlpamardramardra.
