Hello, Greetings. This is Dr. Venkat Korada. I come from a family of Sanskrit and Telugu scholars from Andhra Pradesh, India. I worked as a faculty member in Chemistry at Delhi University, and conducted research in the area of structural biology in the laboratory of Nobel Laureate Prof. Dr. T.A. Steitz at Yale University School of Medicine. I am interested in playing tennis, flying planes, ballroom dancing among others! At an early age I got interested in literature (Sanskrit, Telugu, and English). Recently, I decided to use some of my time to bring to light the literary works of our ancestors by archiving them.I created and am maintaining a website to provide information on their lives and literary works. Though I am a new contributor to Wikipedia, I hope to be able to contribute positively to this awesome global volunteer effort!
