Taylor Sade is an American jewelry designer.

Early life

Sade grew up in Glenview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, and Phoenix, Arizona.[1][2]

Vertigo

In 2021, Sade taughter herself to string necklaces and began producing them in her home.[1] She eventually started creating belts as well.[3] She sources materials from Phoenix and Indonesia.[1]

Reception

According to Vogue the pieces Sade designs evoke nostalgia for "a bygone era that's hard to place".[1] According to the New York Times they are "an embodiment of a self-assurance often associated with a 'Hot Girl Summer' ", a reference to a song by Megan Thee Stallion.[1] GQ said they “are one-of-a-kind and made in very limited quantities, adding a sense of individualism...[t]hese days in the fashion landscape, that’s extremely desirable.”[1] Sports Illustrated said they "embod[y] a certain nostalgia that we can only describe as elevated earthy".[3]

Personal life

Sade lives in Manhattan's Lower East Side and is a marketing manager for RPG, a New York-based branding company.[1]
