History
editThe restaurant offers a Shojin-ryori-inspired kaiseki-style tasting menu.[1] The restaurant's name means "fine day" or "day of celebration" in Japanese.[2] Offerings change monthly and are offered in four- and eight-course tasting menus.[3]
Reception
editIn 2017 Tasting Table named them one of the eight best vegan restaurants in the U.S.[1]
In 2016 they received a Michelin star.[1][4]
In 2013 Travel + Leisure named them one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the U.S.[5]
