Éovart Caçeir (born 7 August 1992) is a politician in the Kingdom of Talossa. Caçeir took office in Cosa (the legislative body of the Kingdom) on 24 January 2008.

Biography edit

Caçeir was born in Geneva, Illinois in 1992. While attending grade school in Grayslake, Illinois, he moved to Mesa, Arizona, where he lived for four years. Following the September 11th terrorist attacks, he moved back to Illinois, to an urban village known as Gurnee. While attending junior high school, he spent a month with his relatives in Salzburg, Austria, where he began learning the German language and developed an interest in international politics. Caçeir became aware of Talossa in October of 2007, while doing research on micronations. He petitioned for citizenship in November of that year, which was granted on 19 November 2007.

Caçeir currently attends Warren Township High School in Gurnee. He is fluent in German and English.

Political Career edit

Caçeir was awarded 5 seats in the Cosa after his political party, the L.R.T. (La Talossan Renaixença) won a considerable amount of seats in the 38th Cosa election. His most significant action during this Cosa was a proposal that would have formally recognized the state of Kosovo. However, after the political situation between Serbia and Kosovo developed, Caçeir halted continuation of the bill and took the side of Serbia in the debate.

In March of 2008, Caçeir ran in the 2008 Maestro election of Benito province, against fellow L.R.T. member Matáiwos Vürinalt. Vürinalt won the election in a landslide victory. However, Caçeir continued to press for reform in the province, working alongside his former opponent to pass much reformative legislation.

During the 39th Cosa election, Caçeir joined the Progressive Party and voted as such in the national election. On 28 October 2008, he was awarded 4 seats in the Cosa.

International Politics edit

Caçeir informally endorsed Bill Richardson during the 2008 Democratic primaries in the United States, distributing campaign literature and advocating Richardson's policies on the internet. When Illinois Senator Barack Obama won the primary, however, Caçeir changed his endorsement to Obama.

In October of 2008, Caçeir made an informal week-long visit to Washington, D.C. to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security. While attending, he held a one-on-one meeting with Ronald E. Neumann, former American Ambassador to Afghanistan, in which the two discussed Central Asian and Middle Eastern policies, as well as the viability of unrecognized states, such as Kosovo, Abkhazia, and Caçeir's own Talossa.

Ma la Mha (born 3 March 1964) was the 34th amd the 39th (and current) Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Talossa. He is the lord of the Barony of Hooligan, located in the northeast of Talossa's Florencia province.

Biography edit

Ma la Mha is currently a resident of Parker, Colorado. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1988, with majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Mathematics and English. He earned his Masters Degree in Computer Science at Colorado State in 1991.

Prime Minister edit

Ma la Mha was the Prime Minister of the Kingdom during the 37th and 38th sessions of the Cosa. He was appointed by the R.U.M.P. party (which had won a majority vote in the Cosa for the first time) following the re-establishment of the monarchy.

One of the primary goals of la Mha's administration during the 37th Cosa was the reformation of the Organic Law and the stabilization of royal succession laws, viewed as a crucial move by many citizens following the crisis caused by the abdication of King Louis I. Additional projects included the establishment of the Royal Bank and Postage, as well as the creation of coinage and postage.

Following another major victory for the R.U.M.P. during the 38th Cosa Elections, la Mha was re-elected due to the success of his first term and considerable popularity within the Kingdom. During the 38th Cosa, the Kingdom enjoyed a peaceful and stable government, allowing for a slew of legislation to be passed. His more notable achievements during the 38th Cosa include the establishment of the Talossan Bureau of Space Exploration and Rocketry, a military reform establishing bedposts as the official weapon of the Royal Bodyguard, and reform regarding previously vague regency policies.

With the R.U.M.P. winning another majority in the 39th Cosa, la Mha was forced to step down, despite continual support from the public, when his party accused him of 'miserable defeat' when failing to 'regain his party's minority status in the Cosa'. He was formally succeeded by Ieremiac'h Ventrux, also of the R.U.M.P. party, on 23 October 2008.

La Mha served as Distain to Ventrutx and the RUMP Prime Minsters who followed (Iustì Canun, Alexandreu Davinescu, and the two-term PM Litz Cjantcheir) before again taking the helm of government for the 44th Cosa.

Background edit

The earliest stages of the conflict arose in September of 1980, when Xheralt Conâ was fired as Talossan Ambassador to the United States, in a fallout regarding his religion and political affiliation. Conâ was accused of 'lying about his religion' when he, a self described atheist, was later found to be a Methodist. Moreover, Robert I was infuriated when he discovered that Conâ was a supporter of Ronald Reagan, a man whom the King detested. Claiming it to be Talossa's first 'political scandal', Robert removed Conâ from his position.

Irritated by what he viewed as an irrational action, Conâ renounced his Talossan citizenship and formed his own secessionist state, the "Glib Room Empire", in protest of Robert's actions. Viewing the Glib Room Empire as illegitimate, Robert and his allies regularly insulted Conâ, which resulted in a climactic event which resulted in Conâ purportedly saying "You have incurred my wrath, vengence is mine, saith the Lord!", which resulted in a supposedly large group "gathering to laugh at Conâ". These claims are largely viewed as an exaggeration on the part of Robert.

Declaration of War edit

Angered by Robert's aggressive actions, Conâ retaliated by targeting Robert's younger sister for torment and abuse. Regarding this action as defiant and uncalled for, Robert responded with a formal declaration of war upon the Glib Room Empire. John Eiffler, Head of State of the Kingdom of Thord soon followed in Robert's actions.

Battle of the Garage edit

The war reached its climax on 24 November 2008, when Conâ vandalized Robert's house and subsequently passed this information on to a secret informant of Robert, John Yahn. Yahn sent this information to Robert, and through a series of communications, Conâ was ultimately found guilty by American mediators and forced to surrender. After signing a peace treaty with Talossa on 25 November 2008, Conâ was forced to repair damages made to Talossan territory on the "first blizzard of winter".
