ECW One Night Stand (2008)
edit
- Randy Orton defeated Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels in a Triple Threat match. (7:12)
- Randy Orton won with an RKO to Jericho.
- This meant Orton would face Undertaker in the main event because he was named #1 contender by Smackdown manager, Jonathan Coachman.

- After the match, Edge speared RVD because he wanted another shot at the title.
- Randy Orton defeated The Undertaker to win the World Heavyweight Championship. (13:50)
- Randy Orton delivered RKO, thus getting the win.
- The win came as a surprise to many WWE fans, Undertaker was scheduled not to have a match for that evening, in reality, this was the day that Undertaker had to have surgery on his bicep from an injury a month ago.
- It was booked to have him relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship the following Smackdown, but Randy Orton faced him anyway and won, per Jonathan Coachman's orders.
