Skribbl (Skibbl.io)[1] is a free online multiplayer guessing and sketching game. It's a Pictionary online version. Every game features numerous timed rounds. Every round, a player choose a word to draw, and the other players attempt to guess it for points. When all the rounds are over, the player with the most points wins!

A free browser game is available at skribbl.io. Both an account and Adobe Flash Player are not required in order to play. Zoom, Google Meets, and other virtual platforms can all be used to play Skribbl.io because it simply needs to be opened in a separate window. Everyone plays independently, thus screensharing is not necessary. The purpose of the virtual platform is to just allow users to view and communicate with one another.[2]

In the free online game Skribbl.io, users may show off their word guessing and drawing skills. You can play this game with friends or with strangers from around the globe. Skribbl.io is a fun challenge to show off your artistic and vocabulary abilities.[3]

A server in skribbl.io can either be public or private.

Public Room

edit

The player can join a public server at any time and begin playing at any point during the game (for example, they can join at round 2). The public server is always set-up with the default settings, which include up to 8 players per match, 80 seconds per round, 3 rounds, and standard word style. [4]

Private Room

edit

If the owner of the private room starts the game with people waiting, the player can join at any moment as long as they have the link to the private room. However, in a private room, they have a better chance of playing from the beginning. Before the game starts, players are able to use the chat feature.

By default, the settings resemble those of public servers, with the exception that you can change them. These are modifiable by the room host:

  • Player count: Can be from 2 to 20.
  • Language: Can be chosen from any of the Supported Languages.
  • Drawtime: Can be 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 120, 150, 180, 210, or 240 seconds.
  • Rounds: Can be from 2 to 10.
  • Word mode: Can be normal, hidden, or a combination of both.
  • Word count: Maximum word count can range from 1 to 5 words.
  • Hints: Can range from 0 to 5 hints.

The player can also choose to use custom words instead of default words. There should be a minimum of 10 bespoke words with a character count of 1–32 and a maximum character count of 20,000. Commas are used to divide custom word strings.

An invitation link and a start button for the owner are located at the bottom of the screen for customizing a private area.[5]

However, there are some players who use auto-draw meaning they can just input the image and it will automatically draw for them. This is count as a cheating mean for some players which make them "Vote kick", "Report", or "Ban" the player.
