Thomas Schaarschmidt

Thomas Schaarschmidt is an artist who is known for creating Pipe's most recent film, for animation and for directing. Thomas started his first animation at the age of 17. Thomas was mentored by his father Uli Schaarschmidt, he is industrial designer and fine art painter. Thomas graduated from "Pranck-Schule fuer Grafische Gestaltung" in Munich in 2000 as media designer and media operator. Thomas was hired in multimedia design by ABB, Daimler, Balfour Beatty and developed virtual realities for them. He worked on several other animated series including CD-Rom/DVD productions, online catalog software and Maglev Cap development.
