Thomas Sprimont lives in Southern California. After long research, he has extensive knowledge of the history of Sprimont, both a village and commune in the Province of Liege, in Belgium. His family migrated from Gembloux in 1856 to the USA. Their linage is traced to Jean de SPRIMONT, born in 1636, and is buried in Noville-les-Bois, evidenced by his tombstone.
One should note there is also a hamlet named Sprimont in the Province of Luxmebourg, Belgium. Although evidence indicates this place existed in the 9th century (as with the village in Liege), no other historical information has been found (although no great effort has been made).
