Is a quit interesting small village, there are wild animals founded there like Rhinos, hyenas, jackals and some times Lions when they get out from etosha national park, because is just near our village. Onkani have big trees those about 60 meters up, and they attracted many visitors of our village. Onkani have a big river that causes sometimes flood in the village. There some beautiful constructed roads, schools and the clinic. Onkani is a good grazing area and is where many farmers construct thier cattle post, and thier cattle looks very healthy.

Schools in Onkani village are Onkani combined school, Ondjungulume primary school, Uuvudhiya primary and pre-primary, this very developed school ever like Onkani combined school because here is i schooled from grade 1-10, and i have gain a lot from it. This village have many mixed farming system because many of people live there do both crops and animals farming.
