This is basically my personal soapbox. With a train theme because why not?
Soapboxing edit
- WP:NOTBUREAUCRACY should be marked as historical.
- In most cases, railroad subdivisions should not have articles. They almost always fail GNG. Rail line articles should not be organized based on subdivisions, but what makes the most sense logically.
- If a railroad changes its name but otherwise remains the same company, separate articles are not justified 9 times out of 10.
- Paper railroads created for legal purposes (such as building in a different state) should be encompassed within their parent railroad's article. Same for companies formed to build a line which they then promptly sold to a nearby railroad. Perfect examples of these concepts are on display at Hartford and New Haven Railroad.
- I hate galleries in almost all cases.
