My name is Steven and I'm from Islington in North London. I've been here on Wikipedia now for a few years but have only recently discovered the fun in contributing more actively to editing pages. Bear with me as I learn the ropes and try to improve what I can.
A few of my interests edit
This list is by no means exhaustive but should give you a general idea about what stuff I intend to work on.
- Law - I'm currently studying for an LLB at Birkbeck College, part of the University of London. I may not be able to add much compared to other, more experienced, Wikipedians, but maybe a fresh set of eyes on the subject won't do any harm.
- Gender studies - I'm gay and have a particular interest in portrayals of gender and sexuality and the impacts of these concepts on society.
- Mental health - a topic close to my heart.
- My local area - Highbury, Islington, London, whatever takes my fancy really.
- Politics - hmm, where to start? I have a keen interest in most political discussion and history but have a particular interest in various ideologies such as anarchy, communism, democracy, pluralism, communitarianism, among others. See if you can work out my politics from that list of interests.
