Hi, I'm a writer of mainly historical non-fiction, specialising in the Roman and early medieval period. I am also interested in the Arthurian legend. I have noticed a few hugely speculative, and at times demonstrably false, statements presented as fact on wikipedia and signed up to try to address these issues. Unfortunately I have struggled to get to grips with how this site works so am limited in how much I can assist editors. There are some proponents of certain theories who appear to create accounts and target specific articles, sometimes changing even quite minor things, to fit in with their particular theory. I also have noticed some users who are acting in good faith being tarred with the same brush, "engaging in edit wars", as the bad faith users. Not sure how you resolve that. I will confine my activity to statements presented as fact that are either hugely speculative or demonstrably false. I won't be promoting or pushing any of my own theories or work. regards Tony
