Éric de Staercke (born on 29 May 1962 in Ixelles) is a playwright, actor and a director from Belgium.
BIOGRAPHY
After completing acting and staging classes at the Institut des arts de diffusion (IAD), Éric De Staercke created, in 1985, with others actors the Théâtre loyal du Trac wich he is still one of the authors and directors. At the same time, he is part of the first recruits of the improvisation league of Belgium.
He did the staging of a lot of spectacles at the same time as his actor career, alone or within a troupe. On the channel RTBF, he participated in television programs for kids ( he is Wilbur DisqueDur in « Ici Bla-Bla ») ; and on radio, he is part of the team for the game : « Jeu des dictionnaires ». He has been teaching improvisation and performance at IAD since 1993, and he also taught at the École supérieure des Arts du cirque de Bruxelles Esac.
