I have several Website's that I maintain including sites for other people. Musicians seem to be a favorite of mine! I recently began a New site, calling it my 'hub'. It is http://3wisestudio.com.
On my new site I finally got around to creating a Video Commercial for me. I bought a New Camera for Video only in (2010), the Canon 5D Mark 2. I tend to use Nikon lenses on it though, just because I own so many and all it takes to do so is the use of an adapter.
I also built another computer this year (2010). It is a core-i7 930 and was built for Overclocking, which I finally got around to after having it up and running for nearly 6 mo.'s. Over clocking is basically like hot-rodding a car (which I did for years too as a garage owner and racer!) but instead on/in a computer. I have now( Aug. 2011) upgraded my Computer workstation to 24GB of RAM as well as Win7 Pro. I use an NEC-PA241W Monitor to color-grade and edit on.
Certifications: ASE certified (lifetime) for Automotive Air conditioning. Required by the Federal Gov't. to do Automobile AC. Otherwise I owned two garages for a total of Fourteen years, and Though I held plenty of certifications, most were from the schools I attended dealing with Drive-ability issues and computer controls.
I served proudly and honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1975 until 1986. Spent about 4 years outside CONUS floating around on various watercraft.
Registered Nurse. I finally quit working as a Nurse in 2010. I was licensed first in Virginia after finishing school in North Carolina. Then obtained a license in Georgia and final license in North Carolina ( Exp. 2011). I suppose I'll contact the NCBON and put my license into inactive status so as not to lose...whatever it is you lose if you do not!
I think that's about it for true certifications.
Other than those two small-ish items: I can tile a floor...and really love building showers! I work in a 3D environment on my Computer most of the time, but also work well in the 4 dimensions we call reality; sculpting, building gadgets or building inside/outside additions to the home. (for the uninitiated four dimensions are: up, down, right, left and when. I Play a Martin Guitar and a newly (May 2011)acquired EWI USB Woodwind MIDI instrument. I recently completed a video featuring my imagery and music, hopefully the first of many. I also play a recorder, though am very rusty at present. My art is basically an exploration of what it is I want to do on any particular occasion. Sometimes it is simple photography and video, other times it is music. Really art can be expressed in the bedroom or boardroom if in the right frame of mind, or just in the mind. So I like art, expressing it and enjoying the joy my art can bring to others.
I live on a beautiful Lake in Georgia, USA; Lake Sinclair. 550 miles of shoreline, Canada Geese, Ducks of several varieties, Otter, White Tailed Deer, Red Fox, 4 or more species of Wood Pecker, and many many species of Bird including Purple Martins, for which I have houses for and they use.
