I am a mostly-retired adult educator and organizational consultant, and may occasionally be asked by past clients to draft, edit or post information on Wikipedia on their behalf. Even though my clients are non-profit organizations and my intent remains to educate honestly and without bias, I've learned that the real or potential conflict of interest presented by my client relationships prevents me from posting or editing any Wikipedia content directly on behalf of a client - even if there is no intent to sell a product or service. Therefore, any such contributions I may make (or that may result in any personal gain) will be submitted to the original page editors for their consideration, and hopefully they will appreciate the validity and importance of the information, or at least allow me to provide proof if they are uncertain.
