Mercy Rule was an American heavy metal/hard rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1986.
Regency Records
editMercy Rule was invited to include a song on Regency Records compilation album, Underground Metal. This song allowed them to gain the attention of both Kerrang! and R.E.X. Records.
R.E.X. Records
editMercy Rule released their only recording, OverRuled, with R.E.X. in 1989. They had a one record agreement, with an option for two. The second record was never released. The band disbanded in the summer of 1990.
