South Decatur Jr. Sr. High School is a small high school in southern Decatur county Indiana. South is a small class 1 A school with a 2008-2009 enrollment of 465 students, including junior high and high school students. The current principal of South is Jim Jameson. South Decatur is one of three county schools including North Decatur Jr. Sr. High, and Greensburg High School. South Decatur has no, auditorium, swimming pool, or auxillary gymnasium.

The 2009 graduation rate was 86.3%. In 2008 the rate of graduation was 89.7%. The racial breakdown of South Decatur is; 97% White, 1% Hispanic, and 2% Multiracial. Its address is listed as a Greensburg address but, the closest town is Westport.

South Decatur may be most famous for its 1990 Class 1A Football State Championship, under the direction of coach Ken Wendling. South's main athletic rival is North Decatur Jr. Sr. High School.
