Joey Shaw (born 22 August 1969 in Milan, Italy)[1] is an Italian fashion photographer. Shaw is known, for his works in the Fashion industry and Hollywood where Joey has been shooting celebrities for the interviews and the fashion editorials for fashion magazines.

Career

Joey Shaw got his start in the fashion industry by shooting portraits of models in Milan. After numerous shoots and gaining notice in the Milan and Paris fashion scene, he shot his first campaign for Vogue magazine.

Meanwhile, between 1990 and 1992, while shooting the Milan, Paris, London and New York fashion shows for Vogue Italy and the "Style" magazines, Shaw photographed top models like Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova.

Shaw went back to Los Angeles very often to start shooting actresses and actors and keep on doing fashion editorials with the Hollywood stars like Debby Ryan,[2] Anna Camp, Adam Rodriguez,[3] Sarah Hyland,[4] Lori Loughlin,[5] Lisa Edelstein,[6] Tobin Bell[7], Ernie Hudson[8], Deborah Ann Woll[9], Isabelle Fuhrman[10], Jessica Lowndes[11], Kathleen Robertson, Taylor Spreitler, Ross McCall, Jessica Lowndes,[12] Deborah Ann Woll.[13]

Shaw also photographed 2 calendars; a glamour one shot in Lanzarote[14], Canary Islands in 2005 with the Playmate Zsuzsanna Ripli and a fashion one shot in Milan in 2007, both of them for the Next magazine.

After signing campaigns for Vodafone, Emirates (airline), The North Face, Expedia, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Société Générale, Mastercard, Banca Etruria, in May 2015 he started his XS campaign,[15] In May 2015 also the new H mag campaign with 2 models wearing lingerie gave the magazine the right international exposure and fame. Always in May 2015, the new Editoriale Italiano.

In July 2015, Shaw and started the "1+1= couple" campaign for the H mag.[16]

In September 2015 Shaw has been identified like a fashion visionary of our time by Charme magazine,[17] referring to the contract the Shaw signed with the Arcadia Mgmt Group in New York for a total amount of $2.8M a year.[18]

In January 2016 the new international XS campaign has been released in London. The concept is by the Arcadia Management in New York and the Shaw is the author of all the photos for the new campaign.[19]
