Arthur Jerry "Art Rease" San Juan (born January 18, 1918, Los Angeles, California) was an American actor, stuntman, screenwriter, producer. His best interpretation was in High Noon, with Grace Kelly and Gary Cooper. Arthur was the son of Modesto Antonio (Granada, Spain) and Helen Viola (Born at Kansas, with Irish ancestors). Arthur lived for more than 11 years in Culver City, United States of America.



Arthur participated in about 36 movies and tv shows, "You are there - The capture of John Wilkes Booth" is an example of them, playing David Herold.



His performances were mainly as a cowboy.

He used to travel on his ship "Amphitrite".

In 1957, during an interview with a Spanish magazine, he slid that he had thought about hiring Gloria Graham for the movie "A pirate's life" (La vida del pirata), that was expected to be recorded at Jamaica.

Unfortunately, Art died in a car crash in Madrid, September of 1960, leaving behind his wife (L.H), 3 children (Vicente, Cynthia E. and Arturo), father (Modesto Antonio) and a sister (Fay Delores).

Funeral services for Arthur J., 42, actor who died Sunday, 3rd of September 1960 in Madrid, Spain, was conducted at the parlor of Cunningham & O'Connor Los Angeles Mortuary, followed by interment in Forest Lawn Memorial-Park at Glendale, Los Angeles, California. Mr San Juan resided at 865 E 9th St.
