I have worked in motorsport for over 25 years, initially as a Press Officer for a number of national and international racing teams, and latterly as an independent journalist, submitting articles, race reports and biographies for commercial print media and on-line reporting agencies. I have written, edited and designed several books on motor racing topics, including the history of individual marques, events, notable drivers and teams.

I am a designer, photographer and copywriter by trade. Aside from motorsport, I have also written books and articles relating to the British canals and inland waterways (having been employed by Waterway Productions, publishers of Waterways World, for many years) and have a growing professional interest in antiques, most especially early English porcelain, Art Deco sculpture and design, and Twentieth Century ceramics.

In my work on Wikipedia, I always endeavour to be objective and clear, and to offer information that is relevant, well-referenced and of broad interest.
