Kitty Castle is a short Rom hack consisting of 4 stars. With speed, an average player, (after finding the course) could beat this Rom hack in 2-5 minutes. In this Rom hack, Bob-omb Battlefield is replaced with a custom level, there's also custom mission names and builds inside of this tiny level.
The Stars edit
This Super Mario 64[1] Rom hack[2] has a total of 4 stars, the first star, "Nom Nom Nom" is a star that can be collected in only 2 long jumps. The star is located inside the castle on top of a cat head build's mouth. The second star, "Tower" is ontop of the top-left corner of the small castle. To get up to the roof, you have to jump on top of the 2 boxes to Mario's[3] right, where he can later jump to the roof. The third star, "EDGE OF THE WORLD" The star is located on the top-right of the map, making it as short as the first star. The last star, "THE ULTIMATE MEGA HUNT FOR RED COINS" has a total of 8 scattered coins. The first five red coins are inside the castle, while the last three are outside. The last 3 are to the bottom-left of the map, under one of the boxes, and to the top-right of the roof.
The Speedruns edit
Of course, There isn't much runs submitted as of October 26th, 2023. But, I have recently made up a run of the game with a total time of 2:16.54 and started time during file selection, then ended time during the last star's fade out. I did the stars in this order: "Nom Nom Nom", "THE ULTIMATE MEGA HUNT FOR RED COINS", "EDGE OF THE WORLD", "Tower". I also made many mistakes during the run, so a new World Record[4] is kind of possible.
