I am currently a dual history and anthropology major studying at SUNY Purchase, New York. I am completing my work for my bachelors degree in history by focusing on Ancient History and Prehistory, particularly that of Europe. I am also studying physical anthropology, leaning towards a primary emphasis on the evolution of the genus Homo and the ancestors of Homo sapiens sapiens. My main goal is to break into archaeology at the Graduate level in either of my chosen fields.
I have a myriad of interests outside of history and anthropology, as well. I am interested in spirituality and faith, and I subscribe to what is known as Northern Tradition Shamanism, even though I am not a shaman. Other interests I have include martial arts, comics, Dungeons and Dragons and roleplaying games, as well as reenacting and living history. I am a private in the 76th New York Volunteer Infantry Company K and have been a member of the reenacting community for half a decade.
