((hangon)) the chix with dix is An American Post-Grunge band that recently formed in 2008. The band consist of Vocalist Kevin Harris, lead Guitarist Jacob Roby, bassist Bradly McLean, and Drummer Art Perez AKA JR or Art. The band does performances at schools and has been know to play songs by such bands as Black Sabbath and Pearl Jam. The band is not currently signed by any record label, but is sponsored by Myspace.com.

The band also has been known to integrate elements of blues, Funk rock, blues Rock, Classical, and other things. Vocalist Kevin Harris has been known to have a strong metal influence. his outlook of the world is very far to the left, being his age of only 14 his knowledge often surprises that of his fellow peers. He is also know to have a strong love for speed metal and thrash metal. he has been known to be very violent at times if you get him angry. because of Kevin's rather heavy vocals the band often plays songs without vocals. one of the band members Arther Perez stated when the band gets older they're going to try and get a record label. Because currently the band consists of 4 eager young men 14 years of age. The lead guitarist Jacob Roby has adapted a strong belief of Anarchy and that no hierarchal authority is needed to successfully run a country. he has been playing guitar for the band since they formed. Jacob is slightly iconoclastic and is influenced heavily by Punk, Punk rock, anarcho punk, Ska-Punk and Hardcore punk. he does enjoy however Blues, Classical, and Metal. you will often see Jacob in A band shirt, wallet chain, wristbands, and ripped jeans. Personally Jacob is very hard to get along with and hates mostly everyone. Jacob can play the Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keyboard, Drums and he can do Vocals. some of Jacobs favorite bands are Muse and Iron Maiden which he is also influenced by. he is also saving up for A British Flag on his guitar because of his mainly British Heritage.
Bradly McLean the lead bassist has been known to be a funky bassist and often keeps the band on point. Brad is oftenly referred to as bobo around his peers. Brad is usually quiet but has been known to be temperate at times. he is too influenced by Punk music and bands such as Sex Pistols and the Ska-Punk band Sublime. Brad and Jacob tend to share similar ideas and are frequently visiting each others houses. The band in general will play guitar hero and rock band a lot. Arther Perez (commonly referred to as JR or Art.) is the Drummer for the band. he is a natural at playing the drums and receives regards from his peers. out of all the band members Arther is the easiest to approach and get along with. he does however have trouble with the Triple bass line when playing but still manages to keep the beat alive using his improvising skills. he is influenced by his favorite drummer Stewart Copeland from The Police and his favorite vocalist Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and Audioslave. Art will get mad at you only when your interrupting the band during one of their performances. Art uses a large drum set and hates having to deal with small ones.
