I am an Irish Pennsylvanian living in Co. Clare in the west of Ireland (I'll come back and explain that later...), I'm farily new to Wikipedia so still getting to grips with editing and coding and how everything works.
I am 40 years old, an anthropologist and heritage specialist working on Irish art, language and cultural heritage. Particular interests are: sociology and access to health care amongst the Irish diaspora; and the social value of national heritage in modern day Ireland in the post-Celtic Tiger era.
Before moving to Ireland 15 years ago I worked for a local environmental health office in Pennsylvania (I'll explain that later too).
I also paint.
