Fergus Moore is a former Irish head chef. He headed the kitchen of "La Cascade", the restaurant of the Michelin starred hotel Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare, County Cork, when it earned his stars in the period 1993-1998.[1][2][3] He was head chef of Sheen Falls Lodge till 2007.[4] His kitchen style was French with an Irish twist of "flawless simplicity".[5]

Moore worked as a young chef at Park when it got his Michelin star under the leadership of Colin O'Daly in 1983.[6] Later he moved to Australia. In 1990 he came back to Ireland to take up a position at the Sheen Falls Lodge. He retired as head chef in 2007 and opened a B&B in Kenmare.[7]

Fergus Moore is married to Margaret and has two daughters.[8]
