The University of Chicago protests of 1969 were among the many student demonstrations that occurred in the United States during the late 1960's.

The protests ended February 14, 1969.

Fallout

42 University of Chicago students were expelled and 81 suspended by the administration for their part in the sit-in.

In books and films

• Hum 255, Directed by Kartemquin Films (Documentary, 1969).[1][2] Some of the expelled students return to campus to profess their radicalism and talk about the event.
