Serangoon Public Library is a public library in Serangoon, Singapore, located inside Nex. It is near Serangoon Bus Interchange and Serangoon MRT station. It is the first public library owned by the National Library Board to be built on a rooftop.
History
editThe library was first announced on 3 February 2010. Officially opened on 11 March 2011, Serangoon Public Library serves the residents of Serangoon planning area.[1]
Layout
editCovering an area of 1635.45 m2, it contains a children's section, a new arrivals section, a newspaper reading corner and an adult section on the rooftop (level 4R) of the mall.[2]
