I'm Tyler Bridges, and I am currently a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University [1]. I moved to Harvard after spending the past eight years in South America, mostly in Peru, as a foreign correspondent for the Miami Herald. I also free-lanced. In 2010, I was selected for a Maria Moors Cabot[2] prize, awarded by Columbia University for excellent reporting in Latin America.

I have written books on Louisiana politics from my time as a reporter in New Orleans for The Times-Picayune.

I have edited Wikipedia pages on Edwin Edwards, David Duke, Buddy Roemer, Alejandro Toledo and my wife, Cecilia Tait.
