Here we have a gift between 2 men, who probably had one of the biggest influences on human history.

The leader of the NAZI Regime and his right hand man, architect of cruelty, probably the biggest mass murderer in history?

And how do they show they’re appreciation – a Pocketwatch, a top of a range one for the time, and in gold with a very personal inscription.

Gold men's pocket watch from A. Lange & Söhne / Glashütte in Saxony with quarter-hour repitition, Hitler's gift to Heinrich Himmler at Christmas 1935, spring cover with engraving "Christmas 1935 in cordial friendship A. Hitler", both Closing cover, dust protection cover and work, with work no. "99907", fineness mark "0.585", as well as company mark and crown mark, gold spring cover case, flat design, diameter of the movement 43mm, shape "Royal", brand DUF (Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation), 22 rubies, white enamel dial with "Empire" numbers, 24-hour display with 1-12 and 13-24 h and golden hands, separate seconds dial, gold case 67.7 grams, total weight 118 grams, clockwork in top condition, clockwork is running, mechanism runs very smoothly, spring case unpolished, blued screws, watch was apparently never dismantled,


Proof of Provenance:

A copy of the original mailing book from A. Lange & Söhne dated December 16, 1935 with a list of the watches sold to Adolf Lünser / Berlin, under price list no . 335 the clock 99907 for the purchase price 966

A certificate from the German Watch Museum Glashütte from July 12th, 2013 with confirmation of the authenticity of the watch after presentation of the piece to Reinhard Reichel Head of the German Watch Museum.

History:

Written statement by SS Brigade Leader Theodor Wisch (1907-1995, Kdr. 1. Pz.-Div. LAH) from July 27, 1987 about the whereabouts of the watch after 1945:

Heinrich Himmler gave the watch to Major Walter on 11 May 1945 in Neuhaus / Oste Eggemann (1911-1957, Ritterkreuzträger) for help with the escape across the Elbe estuary, Eggemann's widow left the watch to Theodor Wisch in 1957, May 11, 1987 to Mr. John-Jacob Engellau.

The watch was sold to a private buyer on 8 May 2013 via an auction house in Munich, acquired from a private person in July 2013, until today in private ownership;

A certificate from the German Watch Museum Glashütte from July 12th, 2013 with confirmation of the authenticity of the watch after presentation of the piece, Reinhard Reichel Head of the German Watch Museum;

Adolf Hitler gave his top people a gift each Christmas, but the most outstanding were a 3 pocketwatches, 1 each to Hermann Göring and Joseph Göbbels, which were either sold or lost, and Heinrich Himmler's watch, which is currently the only known to exist as a relic of the three men, who formed the top Nazi government.
