Painting edit
Painting is the practice of applying paint,pigment and colour.There are 17,000 miniature painting in painting gallery of National Museum new delhi.The word Miniature derived from latin word minium which means red lead is a picture in ancient or medieval illuminated manuscript means simply decoration of early codics minated with pigments.In National Museum,the most important painiting is the marriage of Dara Shikoh,elder son of shah jahan.This painting is made by hadi midani in 1740 to 1750.This painting is very beautifully decorated with fire works and musicians.
