The Carolina Raptor Center, located in Huntersville, North Carolina, is a nonprofit aviary and animal sanctuary that houses, breeds, and rehabilitates birds of prey from around the world. The Center's 34-mile (1.2 km) Raptor Trail is the main exhibit space and shows species such as King Vultures, Crested Caracaras, Spectacled Owls, Saker Falcons, Augur Buzzards, and Bald Eagles.[2] A show called Silent Hunters educates visitors while letting the birds fly under the supervision of their trainers.[2]
