Hi, I am TBMLibrairian, a school librarian in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. I'm interested in information literacy and access to high quality information. My students and I depend on Wikipedia in many circumstances; I particularly teach my students to use Wikipedia to help understand the various publications and organizations they encounter when doing research. For many years (maybe since 2007?) I have been teaching my students to edit Simple English Wikipedia. Now, some of my students and I are learning to host Edit-a-thons to focus on developing specific kinds of information access through Wikipedia. Specifically, to add to topics related to marginalized peoples in the United States.
My other interests include strategy board games, hiking, cooking, reading, and some kinds of crafting (currently visible mending and sashiko).
