PeopleDoc started as Novapost in 2007 on the campus of the HEC Business School in Paris with a pioneering idea, which would replace postmail: every consumer should be able to receive, store and share securely daily life administrative documents in a personal digital vault. In 2009, the HR community took notice of the consumer document vault, with its balance between flexibility and control, and asked the cofounders to design a product specifically for HR. PeopleDoc introduced fresh cloud technology to improve efficiency, reduce operating costs, and automate processes.
