A. Harris Stone is the founder of The Graduate Institute, located in Bethany, Connecticut (an institution dedicated to emerging fields of inquiry) and The Learning Collaborative, Inc. (a think-tank and educational development corporation in service to universities as a source of program design and operation). An experienced professor, author, researcher, producer, and educational entrepreneur, Stone has dedicated his life to leadership in the cause of education. He served as author of The Graduate Institute’s Master of Arts degrees in Organizational Leadership, Conscious Evolution, Holistic Thinking, Experiential Health and Healing, Irenic Studies, and Oral Traditions. He is responsible for the establishment of more than 15 graduate programs, and has authored numerous books on learning in the arts and sciences. Stone is dedicated to promoting creative thinking in the field of leadership and to providing unique opportunities for the transformation of communities and organizations.

Stone operates as a grass and water farm in Benson, VT, home of the Center for Small-Scale agriNculture. His farm provides grass fed, free range beef at a low cost to consumers, and contributes to his mission of creating sustainability through grassroots and community efforts.
