This troper has read a Rugrats fan fic in which takes place after TheMovie and the wolf apparently had a mate and three kids. The mate named Zira and the kids Kovu, Vitani, and Nuka. They want revenge for what happened to the wolf from the movie. Does this sound familiar to you? Guess who saves the kids. Go ahead guess. No, not Spike... Littlefoot. Yes you heard me... Littlefoot. A dinosaur who should be extinct by now, comes out of nowhere, saves the kids and parents from a wolf family, and goes back to the Great Valley.
