Anjaneri is one of the important fort in the mountain range of Nasik-Trimbakeshwar. Anjaneri is located 20km away from Nasik by Trimbak Road.
History
editIt is believed that the Anjaneri was birthplace of lord Hanuman. Anjaneri fort is named after lord Hanuman's mother 'Anjani'. Hanuman spent his childhood and grown up on the same mountain.
