My Generation Energy is an independent solar installation and development company based in Southeastern Massachusetts on Cape Cod. The company connects its clients to solar photovoltaic systems for residential^[1] and commercial electricity use. My Generation Energy was founded in 2009 by Luke Hinkle^[6], a technical consultant for the semiconductor and other advanced manufacturing industries. The company is active in the community hosting a range of presentations and events, often partnering with other organizations where sustainability is at the forefront. My Generation Energy has also made public policy responses^[7] to the state of Massachusetts regarding energy legislation and regulations under the Green Communities Act of 2008 ^[8].
