My Generation Energy is an independent solar installation and development company based in Southeastern Massachusetts on Cape Cod. The company connects its clients to solar photovoltaic systems for residential[1] and commercial electricity use. Systems are interconnected to the grid and electricity is accounted through net-metering.

My Generation Energy[2] has successfully completed the installation of over 2500 solar panels to date at sites ranging from non-profits, to residential as well as commercial. Systems utilize the Enphase Energy[3] Micro-Inverter Architecture that claims increased energy yield, energy reliability and production assurance.

My Generation Energy has partnered with project finance company Unutility Electric[4] to connect commercial clients to energy savings at no upfront-cost using third-party solar installations. From commercial real estate to research institutions[5] Unutility Electric has made solar a viable energy choice.

My Generation Energy was founded in 2009 by Luke Hinkle[6], a technical consultant for the semiconductor and other advanced manufacturing industries. The company is active in the community hosting a range of presentations and events, often partnering with other organizations where sustainability is at the forefront. My Generation Energy has also made public policy responses[7] to the state of Massachusetts regarding energy legislation and regulations under the Green Communities Act of 2008 [8].
