As one of Miami’s premier underground rappers/entrepreneurs, Gigolo has achieved a level of independent success that only a few in his generation have done. At the age of 19 he, gigolo had a record deal with Joeyboy Records. The group that he was in was called Mentally Disturbed. His older brother Eddie Perez (R.I.P), locked the deal with Joeyboy. The frist single did real good on MTV, also called video jukebox. They sold over 400,000 records has also been on compilation records with Tupac , Record labels he was signed to mr Al bell bell belmark records Tony Mercedes and intersound records he also played overseas as well as in the United States. Another accomplishment of his was having the honor of being on the lowrider magazine. He alway's gives thanks to DJs like Jam Pony Express, DJ's in Miami area for breaking their songs, as well as DJ Uncle Al ,R.I.P., who was signed to the same label. Gigolo was one of the frist latino rapper to come out of Miami with Meringue bass music. Gigolo called it "bilingual bass". Some hits made by the group are " MD Hype Tip", abusadora, "Wine Me Dine Me 69 Me" and "I Wanna Get High". The group Cypress Hill did a remix to their song. Gigolo has recently collaborated on a song ft. Pitbull and has done songs ft. Danny D , Buffalo wild wings also campaign using one of his songs in their commercial which was promoted nationwide in march madness playoff useing one of his song in 2012 on a tv ad was called wrong Dancer you can see it on youtube,gigolo was raised in a urban and latino neighborhood called Carol city in Miami and now is bringing his swag mr. radio personality himself you can find him on 107.5 FM in ft Myers FL R&B and hip-hop Radio station
