About me

Born and bred in Durban, South Africa, I am now living in Cape Town - a city I think is one of the most beautiful in the world. I have postgraduate qualifications in Media and Marketing, and studied English Literature at a tertiary level, making communication my area of expertise. I was also News Editor and later Editor of my university's student newspaper, giving me solid editing experience.

I am excited to get involved in Wikipedia because I believe in the free flow of information in a society and in free-to-access information. In South Africa, a country characterised by its high level of inequality, education remains a great challenge, and I believe that Wikipedia has helped greatly to create a more informed world.
