About Me

I am an undergraduate student of Biology (with a specialization in Bioinformatics) at the University of Amsterdam, born in 1981, and I have recently finished writing a thesis on the use of text mining and natural language processing techniques for the automated analysis of biomedical scientific literature. During the course of my research, I learned about the wonderful field of linguistics.

Also, I'm trying to contribute to the Omegawiki (previously "WiktionaryZ", previously "Ultimate Wiktionary") project. Take a look at my user page there for more information about my involvement.
