Ruth Lady Morris of Kenwood (Born on...) is a property lawyer who received a CBE for her contribution to her community, her charity work and her legal career, spanning 53 years. [1] She was also recognised by the Queen by being mentioned in the Queen's birthday honours list in 2014.[2]

Early life and education

She is the daughter of Elsie Janner (born Elsie Sybil Cohen), who was a magistrate and, among other things, an influencial member of the Jewish community and Barrett Janner, a lawyer as well.

Work

She is a recognised property lawyer and specialised in retail warehousing. She began work at Janners, her father's practice, which she ended up becoming Chairman of Partners. She then went to work as a consultant at Paisners, then moved on to Berwin Leighton Paisners. She retired from law in October 2017 after more than 60 years of work in the field.
