I speak, read and write Spanish and English near-natively, having been born to an English-speaking family and received an English-language based education. I grew up in Central America, learning Spanish as a child, and studied Spanish language literature at university. My normal written English dialect is UK-GB. My normal written Spanish dialect is Latin American. In Spanish, I am equally comfortable with tuteo and voseo as 2nd person singular, and prefer -era to -ese in subjunctive.
