Giordano Bruno picture
I have seen you published in en.wikipedia the picture called Brunostatue.jpg; since it has a free licence, why don't you put in in wikicommons?? it is a nice picture of the square Campo de' fiori and I may use it for the related article in it.wikipedia as well Alejo2083 13:13, 12 August 2005 (UTC)

- Read up at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and look especially at {{GFDL-self}}, {{PD}} and the different Creative Commons Licences. If you still don't know: Do you want to be credited when your images are used? Do you require people to use the same license as you do when they make derivative works? Another note, Image:Ibexes.jpg is also untagged. You need to tag every image that you upload to wikipedia (if it's not yours, tag it with whatever licence info is appropriate. Any other images you've uploaded in the past will need to be tagged too. If it turns out that some of them are still under copyright and can't be shared, we'll have to delete them unfortunately (I hope not, that Ibexes picture is great. - Hi Sputnik, you probably won't know if your picture gets nominated unless you nominate it yourself. Alternatly, you can regularly check Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates, where you can view the selection and voting process for all FPCs. That's actually one of my favourite pages, because there's a lot of interesting pictures that go though there (even ones that don't make it). -Lommer | talk 22:30, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Uploading images to Commons
Hi, I like your image Beijing_sundial.jpg and think it should be available in Commons (espacially I want to use it in the ). Though I could also simply upload it there, I always prefer they get moved/uploaded by the original author. So it would be great if you could do this. Gee I'm still blushing with your praise. Thanks a lot, it is great to be encouraged in that way. BTW, I really wouldn't be so harsh on yourself on the section in your photography! I'm obviously extremely flattered, but you're pretty good yourself. I really like your Image:Genesis.jpg, that is so good, not just the photography but the whole symbolism of it. Really great. I see you are at high school, do you mind if I ask what year level? I'm in year 10 (at Australia).
You seemed to have travelled a lot, are your parents in business or is it just for pleasure? What country do you like best?
I'd like to see more of your photos (do you have a gallery?) and hope you can find a new camera! there are some really nice 10x zoom panasonic lumix camera's

Hm, having found my way jusqu'à ici I'm completely lost with what to say :) The translations you suggested were pretty much what I had in mind, but really, saying "up to here" and talking about something you're reading from the top down... "until here" might work, though. It's just me thinking in Finnish again, jusqu'à ici is just tähän asti in disguise. I can't believe I once thought I knew English...

Italic and bold text
Hi again, You're inserting italic and bolded text in a non-standard way. We don't usually use <i>, etc in Wikipedia, except if that is the actual style one wants. Rather, as you'll see on Help:Editing, we surround text with '' to emphasise it (usually italic), with ''' to emphasise strongly (bold) and with ''''' to emphasise very strongly (bold-italic). --jnothman talk 00:38, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

Crazy changes by Gilgamesh
Unfortunately, User:Gilgamesh is now imposing his own views by changing the transliterated Hebrew names of articles with redirects to unreadable Hebrew names and fonts, as if his criteria are the only ones to reckon with, when there are in fact several. My computer, as I am sure many others' as well, does not pick up his type of fonts, and thus he is messing up articles such as Safed, Hadera, Holon, Afula, Arad, Israel and many others defacing them and making them unreadable on the web. He is going to DESTROY the normal usage of Wikipedia's Hebrew transliterations to satisfy his own needs without there being any consensus. Common usages are being thrown out in favor of obscure and pedantic academic usages familiar to only a handful of unkown academics. He should be called upon to stop BEFORE he rushes to do further damage without any consensus being reached. All his changes should therefore be reverted. Aleph
Just curious- why did you remove this part? Aleph, like all Phoenician letters, was a consonant, represented in transliteration by the ’ at the beginning of the word ’āleph, but the Latin, Greek and Cyrillic equivalents have all come to represent vowel sounds. In Hebrew and probably in Phoenician, it is pronounced as a glottal stop — IPA [ʔ]. Since Greek did not contain this sound, when the Greek alphabet was developed, this symbol was adapted to represent a vowel sound, alpha (Αα). -Briangotts (Talk) (Contrib) 14:47, 24 December 2005 (UTC)

I've just noted you, like I used to, are keeping minor edits as your default. I recommend against it: you are marking many non-minor edits as minor.
